Being a Baseball

I may be described as cold, and snow white with a lot of scary deep red stitches on the outside. I am also said to be extremely firm, but I believe I have a tiny bit of softness inside if you squeeze me hard enough.
The best part of being a baseball is twirling wildly as I soar through the air faster than a speeding bullet. The worst thing is getting cracked up side the head by a bat time and time again. It feels like someone took a steel pipe and smashed it against your skull. Then if that’s not bad enough, I fly into a hard leather glove and it’s so hard it feels like your diving into a cement pool. If you were ever thinking about becoming a baseball you might think twice. Why do you think we have all those stitches anyway?
